What is the Polaris Ranger Raffle Benefitting?

The Arizona Elk Society is providing a fundraising raffle to benefit three Arizona Non-Profit Charities: The Arizona Elk Society, Wildlife for Tomorrow and Special Olympics Arizona. The Arizona Elk Society is serving as the primary resource for marketing and promotion for the fundraising raffle campaign. The Polaris Raffle is an opportunity for the public to help raise revenue for the three charities noted above, by purchasing raffle tickets.

How many prizes are there?

There are a total of seven (7) prizes, one grand prize and six secondary prizes:

Grand Prize: 2021 Polaris® Ranger Crew® XP 1000 EPS Premium. Added Accessories include: Poly Crew Sport Roof in Black – Valued at: $539.99 and UTV Street Legal Kit – Valued at: $199.99. Total Value: $18,837.99 from RideNow Powersports. or a 2021 Sea Doo Fish Pro with Trailer. Fish Pro starts at $14,999, Move 1500 Trailer MSRP $1,200

What are the odds of winning?

Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries for applicable participants. Participants can only win one time.

How will the winners be drawn?

Drawing will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 location to be announced.

SALES: All sales are processed electronically and a electronic receipt is generated and maintained in the ticket inventory management software system.

ELECTRONIC TICKET INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & MIXING: Upon close of raffle all e-tickets are electronically mixed so groups of tickets bought together are separated. This action is performed electronically 3 times.

LIVE MIXING & DRAWING: The Arizona Elk Society will conduct a LIVE DRAWING at RideNow Powersports. Once all e-tickets have been electronically mixed they are printed in the random order they were mixed in. These tickets are then put into a rotating raffle drum and rotated several times. A RideNow Powersports representative will reach into the drum and pick winning tickets.

The Grand Prize ticket will be the first ticket drawn. See the Rules & Regulations for the rest of the items and drawing order.

The winners will be announced at the Live Drawing, on social media and on the www.aes-secc.org website. The winners will be contacted per the terms listed in the Rules & Regulations.

LIVE DRAWING: The Arizona Elk Society will conduct a LIVE DRAWING (location to be announced) on Saturday, December 11, 2021. The winners will be contacted immediately and the winners will be announced on social media and on this website.

How much does it cost to participate?

Raffle tickets are $20 each. There is no limit on the quantity you can purchase or the number of times you would like to purchase. Raffle tickets are available for purchase until 11:59 PM AZMST November 28, 2021.

Will I receive a ticket?

No. Tickets are in electronic form; there are no hard-copy tickets. You will receive a receipt that indicates your purchase confirmation and the number of tickets you purchased.

Who is eligible to purchase raffle tickets?

How will the winners be notified?

Winners notification will be made by email, telephone, mail and posted on the State Employee Charitable Campaign’s and Arizona Elk Society websites. The winners will need to provide proper identification and the Grand Prize Winner will need to complete an IRS Form W-9 and any other applicable documents to the satisfaction of Arizona Elk Society. A representative of Arizona Elk Society and RideNow Powersports will assist in coordinating all the details with the Grand Prize Winner regarding the delivery of the vehicle as well as license and registration of the 2021 Polaris Ranger or Sea Doo. The Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for transporting the vehicle from the dealership upon transfer of title to the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner and Secondary Winners agree to the use of his/her name, photograph or videotape likeness and statements for publicity purposes by the Arizona Elk Society, State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) and RideNow and agrees to sign a publicity release without any further compensation as well as a release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement.

What does a prize winner need to claim their prize?

The Grand Prize winner will need to complete the IRS Form W-2G and present their award letter and two forms of identification that verify their name, address, and social security number or individual taxpayer identification number. Examples of acceptable identification include Social Security card, voter identification card, valid driver’s license, passport, or ID card issued by a federal, state or local government.

Secondary Prize winners will need to provide a form of identification as listed above.

Are the taxes (sales), license and doc fees included with Polaris® Ranger or Sea Doo?

The Grand Prize is a 2021 Polaris® Ranger Crew® XP 1000 EPS Premium in Sunset Red Metallic. Added Accessories include: Poly Crew Sport Roof in Black – Valued at: $539.99 and UTV Street Legal Kit – Valued at: $199.99. Total Value: $18,837.99 or 2021 Sea Doo Fish Pro with Trailer. Fish Pro starts at $14,999, Move 1500 Trailer MSRP $1,200 from RideNow Powersports, which includes Sales Tax, License, Registration and Doc Fees. RideNow Powersports will conduct the title and registration of the vehicle directly in the Prize winner’s name. Is insurance and income tax included in the Grand Prize?

The Grand Prize Winner assumes and must pay all income taxes, local, state and federal taxes when the vehicle is transferred to the Grand Prize Winner. In addition, all costs of vehicle ownership, such as (without limitation) insurance, extended warranties and accessories, are the Winner’s sole responsibility. Arizona Elk Society assumes no responsibility for paying the Grand Prize Winner’s income tax obligations and suggests the Winner consult a tax advisor. Arizona Elk Society will collect the income tax from the Grand Prize Winner. A Form 1099 will be filed with the IRS to report the value of the prize won. The Grand Prize Winner will also receive a copy of these forms. This offer is void where prohibited by law and all federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Does the Polaris® Ranger or Sea Doo include any warranties?

The vehicle will be transferred to the Grand Prize Winner in “AS IS, WHERE IS” condition by RideNow Powersports. A standard 1-year limited warranty provided by Polaris. It does not include any other extended warranties. Arizona Elk Society will not provide any guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, in connection with the vehicle. Arizona Elk Society accepts no liability or responsibility regarding the manufacturing or condition of the vehicle. No warranties, express or implied, will be made or offered by Arizona Elk Society.

Who runs the AES Polaris Raffle?

The Arizona Elk Society is providing the RideNow Motersports Polaris Raffle. The SECC is the administrator of the program and issues the funds to the three charities selected for this fundraising raffle.

The Arizona Elk Society is the primary organization managing, marketing and promoting the raffle. All funds are processed through the Arizona Elk Society’s ecommerce site and deposited into an account where funds are held until the raffle closes on November 29, 2020. Funds will be dispersed to the three organizations by the SECC once the winner has been announced and claimed their prize, and all accounting is final.
