OFFICIAL RAFFLE DRAWING RULES

ENTRY:  Participants who purchase raffle tickets at any OneAZ Credit Union branch or online through the Arizona Elk Society website beginning June 24, 2019, until October 1, 2019, will be entered to win the drawing.

Participants will receive one (1) raffle ticket with every $5 donation and five (5) raffle tickets with every $20 donated.

The Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify entries at its reasonable discretion. Odds of winning are 1 out of 3,000.

PRIZE:  There will be three (3) cash prizes ($3,000, $2,000, $1,000 values, respectively) awarded to three (3) winners. The prize is guaranteed to be awarded and is not transferable, assignable or redeemable to the Credit Union. The winner does not need to be present to win. The Credit Union is not responsible for the prize after the winner takes possession of the prize. The winner agrees to hold the Credit Union, promotional partners, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims and/or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prize and/or sweepstakes.

CONDITIONS: The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Credit Union is not responsible for injury or damage of any kind related to or resulting from participation in the raffle or use of the prize. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to SECC’s or OneAZ Credit Union’s use of his/her name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. IRS 1099-MISC will be issued to winner.

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all who qualify under the entry rules above. Officials and employees of the Credit Union and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, and spouse) are not eligible. Must be a legal resident of the state of Arizona and 18 years old at the time of entry. Winners must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident to be eligible for entering the contest.

NOTIFICATION: Winners will be selected on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in a random live drawing at the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza (1700 W. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85007). The winner will be notified via email or phone call on or around Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Failure to respond to the notification of winning within the specified time period in the notification, the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, sponsors’ inability to contact a winner within a reasonable time period, or noncompliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, at sponsors’ sole discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. Winner must also be able to provide proof of eligibility upon request in order to receive the prize.

SPONSOR: SECC is conducting this raffle. The Credit Union is promoting SECC’s Charity Raffle as a bonafide local member of SECC. This sweepstakes is sponsored by One AZ Credit Union, 2355 W. Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85027. No member, director, officer, employee or agent of SECC may receive any direct or indirect pecuniary benefit other than being able to participate in the raffle on a basis equal to all other participants.

REFUNDS: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be made except any ticket request with verified payment received after the deadlines set forth herein above will be returned. No other refunds are available. Arizona Elk Society assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered orders, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines. A ticket purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for Arizona Elk Society breach shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for his or her ticket(s). In no event shall Arizona Elk Society or its respective directors, officers, employees, members, committee members, agents, contractors, advisors, or representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injuries to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity.

When a completed ticket order is placed directly from an Arizona Elk Society representative the purchaser will be given his/her portion of the ticket(s) or a receipt. Arizona Elk Society will enter ticket purchases into the ticket generating software.

TICKET AND PAYMENT VERIFICATION: Arizona Elk Society reserves the right to reject any ticket request form that is submitted with payment that does not constitute “good funds”. All defective or physically altered request forms are subject to disqualification at the discretion of Arizona Elk Society. Prior to the drawing, Arizona Elk Society will make a reasonable effort to notify any individual who submits such an entry form, or one which has been rejected because the credit card or check did not clear, that the entry has been rejected. All requests for tickets for the drawing must be received and/or purchased by the indicated deadline.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries for applicable participants. Participants can only win one time.
